You’ll Be the Same

Whether tears flow or laughter
Whether joy calls or pain
Whether obscure or popular
Through sunshine or rain
Come triumph or mockery
Your love will not change
Your embrace and faithfulness
Will be the same

Always the same
Always the same

Easter-Reflection-Photo-Why-I-

Easter Reflection - Why I Cried

Not for thirst or for hunger
Not for the wound in my side
Not for the hatred or anger
Or the prolong of time
It was Mary the mother
The close of my Father’s eyes
And hearts void
Of compassion
That’s why I cried

Reflection-Heaven-is-a-Perfect

Heaven is A Perfect Place

I don’t know how a divided people
Under one church steeple
Will live together in heaven
I don’t know

I see the first being last
I see shameful faces on those streets of gold
As they realise it’s by a thread they’ve made the fold

For heaven is a perfect place
And darkness will not the light embrace
So earth is the place to prepare
To live together happily there

Reflection-Do-You-Recognise-Me

Do You Recognise Me!

You sing sacred songs
Clap your hands
Shout praises in my name
Yet here I sit next to you
And your countenance doesn't change
Do you recognise me!

I'm speaking softly
Shouting loud
Though you will never know
As I sit next to you
And your countenance doesn't change
Do you recognise me!

Reflection-Mothers-in-Mind-2 6

Mothers in Mind

What of the mothers
whose hearts
are bruised
torn by that veil that whispers
across the cheek like silk
only to leave an indelible print.
What of those women
who lock away
in the quiet room to cry
with dry eyes
away from those who celebrate.
What of those mothers like Mary!
